Evaluation
Considering that I had absolutely no prior experience animating in Maya I would say I did well in this unit. Granted there was a lot of time and error and if I had committed a little more dedication I would have gotten a much better and smoother animation, however I am pleased with my final result. I have defiantly learned a lot in this unit and feel confident that I could go and animate my own characters in Maya now.

Animating in Maya
Today I got some practice animating in Maya, I animated a variety of objects to move up, down, side to side and to rotate as you can see below. This has definitely given me a much better understanding of how various animation tools within Maya work such as key frames and how to move them accurately.
Creating my own Animation
Today I wanted to get some practice creating an animation outside of Maya so I could show that I knew what I was actually doing and wasn't just limited to creating animations in Maya. You can see my result above, I used Flipbook to make this and considering that I had never really used it before I think that it turned out rather well.
Brainstorm
To help me come up with some ideas I have created a Pinterest mood board with some animations of various things like people, animals, day to night cycles etc.
